A loving grandfather tells the story of how he takes his little girl to the fun fair. It becomes a tradition for the grandfather and grandchild to go to the fun fair every time the little girl comes home to see him. These are happy times. Yet the grandfather is painfully aware that he will die before his little girl grows up.

And the little girl will always remember the days when her grandfather used to take her to the swings at the fun fair. She will remember him in her own special way, she will not return to the fun fair without her grandfather, as this was a special time shared between the two of them. Nor will she ever forget the smell of the soap her grandfather used to shave and how much he loved her.
