ABOUT
Pere Ginard is illustrator and filmmaker.
His work is based on the exploration of perpetual motion and the melancholic creation of ghosts, monsters, prodigies and mystical outbursts, as well as sometimes unfinished observations of things that turn towards the sun and blond wavy-haired people with a tendency towards baldness.
He has exhibited his films, drawings and artist's books in many art galleries and festivals both nationally and internationally, published several illustrated books and won awards related to photography, illustration and audiovisual.
Some of his shorts are part of the Hamaca Catalogue and Xcèntric Archive, the experimental film program of CCCB.
Some of his zines and artist's books are part of the library collections of MACBA.
